Summary of Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager (Licensed Construction) is responsible for contributing to the achievement of the company’s licensed and international store opening plan (as well as new company owned stores as required). This position may manage either internal or external project managers. The Senior Project Manager (Licensed Construction) is responsible for all phases of project development, including construction, architecture, and engineering coordination required for the complete development of licensed and international stores. This position has responsibility to complete all construction projects within the required turnover date and within budget. This role must assess, adjust, and align ongoing projects with the company’s strategic objectives and priorities. The Senior Project Manager (Licensed Construction) engages, influences, and supports licensees and international partners (e.g., AAFES).


You’ll get a chance to:

  • Manage all phases of project development for the construction of new licensed stores, including planning, construction, architecture, and engineering coordination.
  • Collaborate with key international and licensed partners to align project objectives and standards.  
  • Ensure compliance with AAFES (and other key international and licensed partners’) processes and procedures during the construction process.
  • Responsible for construction, architecture, and engineering coordination required for development of new licensed and international stores. 
  • Collaborate with other functions within the company and external consultants/suppliers to ensure new stores meet PRG’s standards, AHJ requirements, codes, and [any] landlord requirements.
  • Support Licensed and International business partners in due diligence of store sites, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, and floor and site plans.
  • Ensure completion of required approval processes, including government agencies, developers, and landlords.  
  • Oversee the construction bidding and contracting process for assigned stores.
  • Ensure construction activities at the job sites track with plan.
  • Maintain project schedule, tracks regulatory approval processes, and oversees project costs.  
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.  
  • Responsible for regular reporting on project process to all stakeholders and responsible for ensuring construction documents are accurate and reflect current requirements to enable quality bids.
  • Apply business knowledge and acumen to effectively create win-win solutions with licensees while ensuring PRG’s standards and strategic objectives are achieved.
  • Serve as project manager for new store construction covering all phases of project development for new non-licensed/international as workload requires. 
  • Ensure construction is completed and meets the company's high-quality standards on a timely and cost-effective basis.  
  • Oversee the work of selected general contractors and sub-contractors.

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field required
  • Minimum seven years of construction project management experience with increasing management responsibility, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment 
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range M3: $127,000 - $178,500 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
